The exhibition No Man’s Land / ten discourses in Romanian contemporary art presents on the same territory ten distinct exhibitions, each conceived around a different concept, their juxtaposition generating, through the random positioning in the spaces of Scena9 Residence, conflictual states or harmony. The unoccupied room in the exhibition, a transition area to all the spaces dedicated to the focus exhibitions, will become a no man’s land, a meeting point of dialogue and debate between the exhibitions. The project defines and justifies the space where curators will develop independently a representative discourse for each city, outlining an unexpected journey within the building’s labyrinthine spaces. No Man’s Land continues the series of exhibitions produced by Ephemair Association exclusively for the White Night of the Art Galleries and brings together ten focus exhibitions dedicated to the ten NAG cities. Invited by Ephemair Association, ten curators will introduce you to the local contemporary art scene of each city: Călin Dan (Arad), Cosmin Năsui (Baia Mare), George Roșu (Brașov), Simona Vilău (Bucharest), Horea Avram (Cluj Napoca), Adrian Bojenoiu (Craiova), Cătălin Gheorghe and Cristian Nae (Iași), Dan Raul Pintea (Sibiu), Laura Borotea and Bartha József (Târgu Mureș), Cosmin Haiaș (Timișoara).
