"Fluff Lord's Petshop" fantasizes and refelcts on our current human condition through the lenses of sexy anti-terrestrial designer dogs. The dog which was once meant to protect and offer companionship to its guardian, has now evolved to a utilitarian and autonomous machine, a dystpoian symptom of our rapid shift and dependance to technology and internet. Stripped from a normative societal role, we can look at the former human's best friend, as a mirror for our relationship to productivity, safety and solitude. Pet dogs, seen as vessels for experiencing love and friendship, which we would naturally miss in parts of our lifes, transcend their condition in this presentation. In the imagined scenario for Strazicic's installation, the "dog" becomes a mirror for a world where loyalty, its dominant characteristic, is deconstructed and reimagined, influenced by design, aesthetics and body augmentation.
