Pop Up Window Celula @ Kulterra Gallery Debuting in April 2022, the Featuring Kulterra program represents in a specific way the philosophy of Kulterra Gallery: one of openness and dialogue marked by curiosity and a spirit of adventure. Feat. Kulterra is an open door, it is the showcase dedicated to guests; the corridor leading to the Kulterra Art Store will host "visiting art", whether we are talking about works proposed by other galleries or by artists directly. Feat. Kulterra is the bet that the spirit of competition is tempered by the spirit of collaboration; it is the materialization of the belief that although there are several art galleries and although there are a large number of artists, in the end we constitute, only together, a community. Landscape with a brown eye / Bunny hop I Beaver Landscape with a brown eye / Bunny hop I Beaver 30.09 - 28.10 2022 19:00 Kulterra The works seek a direct contact with the viewer, Beaver's characters look beyond the frame, directly into the eyes before which they display their histrionic desire to be seen. A little playful, but also a little vulgar, the position of the inverted gaze, with the head down, overturns a slightly cheesy report on naive love, building at the same time an atmosphere of deep intimacy. But still, how much can you force someone to love you? Beaver is a contemporary plastic artist. He studied graphics but is much more interested and preoccupied with painting. He generally paints in oil but also plays with other materials. Thematically and stylistically he is very diverse, either working meticulously and realistically or strongly abstract. His ideational spectrum starts from baroque visceralities, passes through vulgar beginnings and ends up in humorous existential absurdity.
