“Excess in Detail vs. Essence of Form.” This project could contrast the two worlds through a series of works that explore how each style influences our perception of space, time, and materiality. Paintings or installations could begin by exploring complexity, bringing to the fore an abundance of shapes, textures, and colors, to depict a full, dynamic, and “boundless” space. On the other hand, minimalism would be approached through absolute simplicity: clear lines, limited color, and vast unoccupied space, where each element would have a deep, yet simple meaning. In this concept, the goal would not only be to illustrate the differences between the two styles, but also to challenge the viewer to reflect on the relationship between them: How can excess deepen the meaning of a work? How can simplicity provide a new understanding of complexity? The exhibition aims to have a slight Hippy scent through the explosion of color through the specific m=naiveties and partisan impulses, with euphoric feelings and slight erotic insertions brought to the fore just to oppose love to aggressive tendencies, clearly campaigning for peace!
