We open without any works inside. There is a table full of tools, a typewriter, and rolls of receipts. Every time the door opens, works start to appear in the space, in front of us, in real time, as we move from thought to action to exhibition. “The Black Box: SPEP” is a cultural context meant to question and expose its own way/the way in which an exhibition comes into being. Functioning as a public display exercise, through which participating artists are invited to add works weekly in front of visitors.
