An archive is not storage, but a living space where what has been fixed negotiates with what might become. When Francisc opens his Metafictions archive, the gesture goes beyond display - it reactivates tensions that were frozen in the works. In the Metafictions paintings, moving human figures were caught between artificial geometric structures, exploring the divide between organic spontaneity and constructed rigidity. The works sought to capture that split second when people navigate the geometric urban maze, caught between the naturalness of their own gestures and the artificiality of the space around them. Breaking up these works and turning them into material for collective collage isn't abandonment - it's liberation. In the collective collage of the open archive, these tensions break free - the public becomes the spontaneous human movement that acts upon the fixed geometric fragments. The open archive turns the viewer from witness of tension into participant in its resolution. Each intervention adds a layer of direct humanity, unfiltered by the rigid structures of painted composition. What was once metafiction becomes collaborative reality.
